The Belledune Port Authority holds several large parcels of land adjacent to its main terminal facilities. There is more than 650 hectares of land available for immediate development that is accessible by sea, rail and road. The land is ideal for service bays, short and long-term storage and for assembly operations. That would, for example, allow a manufacturer to ship cargo through the port, assemble products on-site then move those products to North American markets by rail, highway and short-sea shipping.
